Aula Shabaneh

Aula holds a degree with a Bachelors in Exercise Science. Her focus currently is completing a bachelors degree in Sharia (Islamic Studies). In the midst of her studies, she acquired in depth experience for 4 years as a Islamic studies teacher and a youth director at her local masjid and college. She is impassioned by teaching through mentorship. Aula’s inspiration to help the youth gage with Islam by learning the religion, blossomed when she was given the opportunity to learn freely from her Islamic Studies professor, back in high school. She was encouraged to question, to analyze, to brainstorm and engage in a healthy dialogue regarding the Quran. Her hope is to provide the same level of opportunity and freedom for her future students.
