Amir Muriby
Amir Muriby is the co-owner & founder of Capture Solar LLC, where he oversees the solar sales department, including the training of onboarding sales reps and maintaining excellent customer service. Amir also is the co-owner & founder of Prime Shutters, LLC, where he took the company from a startup to one of the highest rated window treatment companies in the DFW metroplex. Amir is very passionate about the Muslim youth and would love to see more young Muslim entrepreneurs & leaders take action on their dreams & goals.
Ashraf Kuzbari
Ashraf Kuzbari is a 14-year-old student of knowledge that has successfully completed various BEAM courses. He is passionate about inspiring younger children and has a unique and efficient way of communicating and motivating them. Even though Ashraf is only 14, he has accumulated a lot of knowledge in different areas of Islam and has developed strong leadership skills through his continuous attendance of BEAM. Ashraf has been attending BEAM for nearly seven years and has successfully completed courses in classic Islamic studies such as intensive Seerah, 99 Names of Allah, Doubts and Dawah, Aqeedah, and many more. Ashraf has also completed BEAM courses in modern integrated Islamic Studies such as Muslim Entrepreneurship, Muslim Civic Engagement, Media and Islam, Prophetic Medicine, and Public Speaking, and more. MashaAllah, he has been recognized by his school and received Presidential Academic Excellence Awards. He has a love of writing which has driven his blog on Facebook about personal development and Islam, whilst also fueling him to indulge in the writing and teaching of several friday khutbahs at his school for 3 years. He has also taken initiative in several projects, which include the creation and development of both reformcoin.org and www.vibeflames.com
Fauzia Rahman
Fauzia Rahman is an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Education, Policy, Organization and Leadership at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She also teaches Middle School and High School History in a Muslim co-op. Fauzia received her doctorate in Educational Policy Studies with a concentration in Global Studies in Education and a Minor in Gender Relations and International Development. In the past year, her focus has shifted to working with Muslim children and youth to foster and create community spaces that are diverse, inclusive, and spiritually grounded in a Prophetically inspired curriculum(s) and pedagogical practices.
Massa Awad
Massa Awad is a self-taught illustrator and a graphic design graduate. She worked as a freelance graphic designer, a medical illustrator, and a children’s books illustrator. She also has an Infant/Toddler Diploma from the North American Montessori Center. Massa has a very strong passion for children’s material. She is the illustrator of the best-selling book on Amazon _The Joy of Eid._ Massa enjoys spending time playing with children, and in nature watching sunsets and clouds. Her favorite sport is horseback riding. She Participated is several competitions and received several rewards.
Mohammad Saad Yousuf
Saad Yousuf is currently the Dallas Stars beat writer for The Athletic and a producer and show host on 96.7/1310 The Ticket in Dallas. He previously worked two years at the Dallas Morning News and 5.5 years at ESPN Dallas Radio. Saad has covered the Dallas Cowboys for six seasons and the Dallas Mavericks for seven seasons along with three seasons covering the Dallas Stars. He has also covered a variety of PGA golf tournaments and tennis tournaments. Saad graduated with a bachelor's in journalism from UNT in 2017.
Noor Salem
Noor Salem is an author of six books, speaker, and a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. After earning a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan within two years, she successfully received her graduate certification as a holistic health coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, the world’s largest educational institution for nutrition. Noor has been working with clients for years through her wellness practice, Holistic Noortrition, on healing naturally from issues including, but not limited to, allergies, migraines, food intolerance, arthritis, infertility, weight loss/gain, thinning hair, and insomnia. She conducted workshops, lectures, and group coaching classes in countless faith-based organizations, conventions, and universities nationwide, including MAS-ICNA, Al Maghrib Institute, and ICNA. She authored Sunnah Superfoods, Sunnah Superfoods for KIDS, Sunnah Superfoods for Baby: Arabic Version, and Sunnah Superfoods: The A to Z of Eating Healthy. Her hobbies include photography, hiking, and poetry, Imam al-Shafi’s Diwan being amongst her favorite.
Nour Doukmak
Noor Doukmak is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Education, Policy, Organization and Leadership at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She holds a Master’s degree in the Study of Contemporary Muslim Thought and Societies from Hamad Bin Khalifa University. Her interests include the history of Muslim education in the United States and the racial, cultural, and linguistic diversity present within the U.S. Muslim population. Her current doctoral research focuses on homeschooling among diverse Muslim families in the United States.
Sara Ahmad
Sara Ahmad is a marketing professional working in the industry for over 10 years. Her background is very diverse. With a Bachelors's and a Masters's, she has studied communication, media, digital marketing, supply chain, and UX design. She currently runs her digital marketing agency, Ekko Media Inc., that she founded in 2016.
Sara is also working on launching her second business, which is a social media app for food called Bite Reel. In her spare time, Sara enjoys cooking, gaming, and spending time with friends and family.
Sara Bawany
Sara Bawany is an award-winning published poet, a freelance editor, and a clinical social worker based in Austin, Texas. Centering her writing around her experience and identity as a Muslim woman while exploring overlapping themes of faith, diaspora, and resistance, she began sharing her work publicly on Instagram (@sara.bawany) in 2016. Garnering several thousand readers, she published her first poetry book in September 2018, titled: “(w)holehearted: a collection of poetry and prose” which was awarded “Best Poetry Book” by Daybreak Press Publishing. She was a Finalist in Button Poetry’s 2021 annual chapbook contest. Her work has been featured twice on TEDx, Muslim Youth Musings literary magazine, Voyage Dallas Magazine, and Brown Girl Magazine. She is an incoming student at Texas State University in Fall 2022 to begin her Master in Fine Arts in Creative Writing with a concentration in Poetry.
