Summer is around the corner and this year’s BEAM summer Program will be one to remember, it's time to make new friends and enforce our friendships in a creative, fun, and safe environment. This summer BEAM will offer 4 weeks in person of educational fun and active sports along with our online programs.
Parents can choose between our Intensive Arabic program, Intensive Quran program, or Teens Program for Boys or Girls. All of in-person programs will integrate one session of Islamic Studies. The BEAM summer program will follow CDC and local guidelines to ensure the safety of our students and staff.

1. BEAM Intensive Arabic Program

Students ages 4-13. Small Arabic class sizes.

4 weeks: June 20th- July 22nd.

Two weeks in June and two weeks in July (No classes on July 4 and 6).

Monday and Wednesdays (Friday Optional) 11:00 AM- 2:00 PM

Two sessions Arabic and one session Islamic Studies.

Optional Field Trips on Friday that relate to the lesson themes.

Program Description:
The program offers small class sizes of 5-7 students per Arabic class. The program meets twice a week on campus for three hours each day and there is a field trip on Fridays. The Arabic class will focus on reading and comprehension skills and incorporate fun language activities. The class will have a different theme each week incorporated into the vocabulary and stories. This class is an amazing opportunity to expand your child’s vocabulary and take their language skills to the next level. There will be an Islamic Studies class along with the two Arabic class sessions.

In order for students to immerse themselves fully in the Arabic language and practice speaking what they learned in class, there will be an academic and fun trip offered on Friday of each week. The field trips will provide our students with the chance to build incredible memories while learning the Arabic language. There will be three field trips starting in the second week of the program. Field trips will consist of various interesting locations. All the field trips will be guided by native Arabic-speaking volunteers and teachers.

Optional Sports: $100 for one hour of the sport before the Arabic Program on campus at 10:00 AM.

Program Description:
The program offers small class sizes of 5-7 students per Quran class. The program meets twice a week on campus for three hours each day and there is a field trip on Saturday. This class mainly focuses on teaching students how to read and recite the Quran with ease and proper Tajweed (pronunciation). The Quran class will also have a hifz (memorization) aspect based on the students’ level. There will be multiple classes to best fit different levels. This class is a great chance to keep memorizing the Quran and improve reading during the summer. There will be an Islamic Studies class along with the two Quran sessions.

There will be an academic and fun trip offered on Saturday of each week. Students will be introduced and exposed to different Muslim community centers to tour, meet the leaders, and learn more about their community. Each week, they will visit a different Masjid and have a spiritual workshop. The field trips will provide our students with the chance to build incredible memories while visiting the different masjids. There will be three field trips starting in the second week of the program. All the field trips will be guided by BEAM volunteers and teachers.

Students will gain a deeper understanding of the career by having guest speakers and multiple workshops, as well as hands-on activities. The program also includes one session of Islamic Studies with Sister Sophia Khan.
Girls Islamic Studies Class Description:
We are easily able to say La Ilaha Illa Allah on the tongue but a lot of us do not recognize the powerful weight these words have in our lives and our Aakhirah! In this course, In shaa Allah, we will go into detail on the importance of this powerful statement, the pillars we need to fulfill in order to believe in it, the conditions needed in order for us to internalize La Ilaha Illaa Allah in our hearts and lastly, we will go over in detail the various forms of La Ilaaha Illaa Allah mentioned in the Ayahs of the Qur'an. Our aim is to be able to incorporate and view the world with the lens of La Ilaaha Ilaa Allah which is what brings us together and unites us as a Muslim Ummah.
