About the Course
An introductory course designed specifically for girls that explores essential topics of purity (Tahara) through the lens of the Qur’an and Sunnah. This class aims to provide a clear and practical understanding of personal hygiene, purification practices, and spiritual cleanliness, helping students feel confident in their religious duties.

Students will be better understand the following:
What is purity (TAHARA), Types of water
Wudu (requirements, sunnah of Wudu, steps and nullifiers)
Tayammum and Wiping over socks/ shoes
Toilet etiquettes
Menstruation and ghusl (requirements and steps)
Layla Muriby

Layla Muriby is a passionate teacher and lifelong student of Islamic knowledge. She has spent her youth studying under Shaykh Mohamad Hamzawy of Al-Azhar, building a strong foundation in the sacred sciences. She continues to advance her studies at Darul Qasim and Qalam Institute, where she focuses on deepening her understanding of fiqh and tafsir.
Layla is dedicated to making Islamic education inspiring, relevant, and rooted in faith. Her teaching reflects a deep love for the deen and a desire to connect with students in a way that is both engaging and transformative. Alongside her commitment to Islamic studies, Layla is currently in her third year at the University of Texas at Dallas, pursuing a degree in Psychology a field that further enhances her ability to connect with and nurture the next generation.
