About the Course
This course offers a thoughtful and guided study of Imam al-Ḥaddād’s timeless counsel on character, discipline, and spiritual strength, designed specifically for young men ages 16–18 as they navigate the critical transition into adulthood.
Through close reading, discussion, and reflection, students will explore what it means to intentionally cultivate virtue—developing sincerity, self-control, humility, responsibility, and purpose in both their inner lives and outward actions. The course emphasizes practical application, helping students connect classical wisdom to real challenges they face today, including decision-making, peer pressure, ambition, leadership, and personal accountability.
Rather than treating faith as abstract theory, the course invites students to actively shape their character and choices in pursuit of Allah’s pleasure. Students will be encouraged to reflect on their habits, values, and goals, and to approach personal growth as an ongoing responsibility rooted in faith, clarity, and conscious effort.
By the end of the course, students will have developed a stronger moral compass, a deeper appreciation for spiritual discipline, and practical tools to approach adulthood with confidence, integrity, and purpose.
